Red Capsicum

This sweet and juicy vegetable does not come from Bulgaria, as is commonly believed, but from Central America. Unlike its spicy counterparts, it contains less capsaicin which gives pepper bitterness and, therefore, is perfectly suitable for fresh consumption, in salads, as well as in hot dishes and preservation.
